The determination as to the appropriate use category in which a proposal belongs is made by the City Administrator. This decision is not a land use decision but is subject to the provisions of ORS 227.175(11). All use category determinations shall be entered into a registry which is open to the public and includes the following information:

the street address or other easily understood geographic reference to the subject property;

the date of the decision; and

a description of the decision made.

At the option of the applicant the City shall provide notice and hearing through a Type II review as described in Section 520.100 and through 520.130.

A determination of use category decision may be appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals subject to the appeal period described in ORS 197.830(4)(b). A determination of use category which is reviewed in a Type II process can be appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals within 21 days of the date of the Notice of Decision. No appeal to the Wood Village City Council is allowed.
