Noise Sensitive Receptor: Schools, courts, churches, hospitals, and similar institutions where individuals eat, sleep, or congregate and/or unreasonable noise would interfere with normal functioning.

Sound Producing Sources: Items, property, or people that emit sound using, but not limited to:

a. Vehicle Horns, Signaling Devices, and Similar Devices

b. Non-Emergency Signaling Devices

c. Emergency Signaling Devices

d. Radios, Televisions, Stereos, Musical Instruments and Similar Devices

e. Loudspeakers, Amplifiers, Public Address Systems, and Similar Devices

f. People shouting, yelling, or otherwise vocally emitting sound

g. Animals and Birds

h. Construction activity

i. Blowers, and Similar Devices

Plainly Audible Sound: Sound that is musical, spoken, or mechanical in nature that is unambiguous

Vehicle: any device which is designed or used for transporting people, goods, or property upon a public street or roadway, including but not limited to a body, engine, transmission, frame, or other major parts, but does not include a device propelled by human power, such as a bicycle, or a device operated exclusively upon fixed rails or tracks.
