Payment of the license fee or permit fee as herein set forth and the issuance of license or permit hereunder shall not be deemed to permit or authorize the person to whom such license or permit is granted to engage in any activity prohibited by the City, nor to waive any provision of law or ordinance now or hereafter enacted regulating or prohibiting conduct of any nature within the city or the possession or operation of any amusement device or machine to which this chapter applies.
