All operator licenses and/or permits as herein defined, shall be issued for the calendar year. No license shall be issued for more than a year or for less than a year unless otherwise provided herein. Application for renewal of license or permit previously issued by the City for the possession and/or operation of any amusement device or machine or amusement vending device or machine covered by this or other applicable ordinance of the City, shall be made to the City Recorder prior to the expiration date stated on said license, and shall be accompanied by the annual license and/or permit fee.
