The driver of an authorized emergency vehicle when responding to an emergency call or when in pursuit of an actual or suspected violator of the law or when responding to but not returning from a fire alarm may park or stand irrespective of the provisions of this title. However, this provision shall not relieve drivers of emergency vehicles from the duty to park or stand with regard to the safety of all persons. (Ord. 2-1988 § 10(10), 1988.)
