No person shall store or permit to be stored on a street or other public property, without permission of the Council, a motor vehicle or personal property for a period in excess of forty-eight (48) hours. Failure to move, by a minimum distance of five-hundred (500) feet, a motor vehicle or other personal property for a period of forty-eight (48) hours shall constitute prima facie evidence of storage thereof. This does not include basketball stands when not impeding traffic or presenting a safety hazard as determined by the code or law enforcement officer. (Ord. 2-2008, 2008; Ord. 2-1988 § 9(6), 1988.)
